Our Story

2015

(time when Facebook was all about squares and rectangles, no reels or stories, light mode only)

A video of kids queuing outside a store for a chance to buy Yeezys pops up on my Facebook feed – I want them

I barely know or speak English, but I google and google and google search terms where to buy Yezzys, Adidas Yezzy (yes, I misspell the name all the time). It only leads me to a general Adidas EU website, I finally find an informational post about Yeezys without a button “add to cart” or “buy now” – dead end

2016

I am on a school trip with my classmates and few other students from my school. I am a shy kid when it comes to approaching others, but I see a boy wearing pirate blacks (present me: must have been fakes). It takes me minutes of hesitation and awkwardness when I finally ask him where he got them from. The boy mumbles something along the lines ‘my friend got them for me’  – dead end

2017

The era of weheartit

I scroll through shoe pictures, I come across the picture of Air Jordan 3 Black Cements – beautiful, set it as my wallpaper

*The realisation*

I finally accept the fact that it is currently impossible to get my hands on Yeezys or Jordans. None does drops within Eastern Europe, I do not know about raffles, I have no clue how the buying process works

>> 2020

I study abroad. I come across 2 or 3 pairs of Nike dunks and Jordans. I put all my money in, change the name of my current Instagram clothing selling account, take some pictures of the shoes and post them there

It is 2023

I have seen or held in hand pretty much all the shoes I dreamed of back then and even more. I am grateful for a chance to be able to bring the culture to my beloved country Lithuania and the rest of Europe.
